Bringing it to Life...
You’ve created your Vision and Purpose, you’ve affirmed your values and guiding principles, and you have a head start on your Life Map. You might be thinking, “Well, now what?!” Now it’s time to bring your Vision and Purpose to life out in the world. The primary way we do that is through the Life Maps that were started during the retreat. The Life Map serves as your compass as you navigate into the life you are meant to live.
Here are the nine major life areas that the Life Map includes, with examples of what falls into each area:
- Self: health, harmony, well-being, balance
- Family: relationships, parents, children, legacy
- Wisdom/Self Knowledge: inner wisdom, spirituality, self-awareness, healthy boundaries
- Career: livelihood, success, fulfillment, passion
- Helpful People/Support: community, mentors, associations
- Creativity: passion, learning, personal growth, sense of wonder, playfulness
- Relationship: commitment, intimacy, family, friends, colleagues
- Fame/Reputation: making a difference, legacy, gifts and talents
- Wealth/ Prosperity: Manifesting, gratitude, personal power, income, expenditures, investments
For each of these areas (and if you have an addition or different area that you want to be part of your Life Map, then it’s your choice to include it!), you will create intentions, choices and actions. These form your personal action plan, which supports your Vision for yourself. Now, it’s time to bring that plan to life!
Follow-Up Coaching Calls
A key part of making sure the LYV process doesn’t stop at the end of the opening intensive or retreat is the follow-up coaching calls. The bottom-line purpose of these calls is to support you as you work your plan. This helps to bring about new habits and beliefs that are sustainable! Each call provides an opportunity to discuss each life area, wins and challenges, and lessons learned. It provides a place to share accountability. We also will share what’s working and what’s not, and brainstorm ideas that support your process. Each weekly call will be 75 minutes long; the call schedule will be determined by the group or individuals involved.
What Happens After the Calls are Over?
When we get to the last call, we’ll celebrate your progress and commitment to an expanded life. We’ll also discuss what is going to serve each of us moving forward. Some may want to continue with an occasional “check in” call; others may want a virtual way to stay connected. You may opt to explore one-on-one coaching, to continue to build on what you initiated during LYV. You may also feel complete and ready to implement your plan through the support system of friends and family.
However you choose to use your Living Your Vision experience, you will be sustained by clarity of values, vision and purpose. Energy, focus and alignment … all can be yours as you Live Your Vision!
