During the LYV Process

It’s finally time to begin! Depending on the LYV path you choose, the following activities will either happen in a retreat setting or spread out over a few weeks on the phone.

Day 1: Discovering Essence (1/2 day)

  • Welcome and Agreements
  • Overview of the LYV Process
  • Pre-Visioning work using the LYV Personal Assessment, including guided visualization and intuition exercises

Day 2: Discovering Vision & Purpose (full day)

  • Introduction to Vision & Purpose
  • Creation of Vision
  • Creation of Purpose
  • Clarification of Guiding Life Principles
  • Creation of Intentions to support goals in major life areas

Day 3: Creating the Framework for Transforming Vision into ACTION (full day)

  • Introduction to and Creation of Choices
  • Introduction to and Creation of Actions
  • Life Mapping and Commitment
  • Discuss follow-up LYV coaching sessions
  • Closing & Celebration!

During the course of each day, there will be plenty of breaks, with time for healthy food, stretching, exercise, reading, reflection, journaling or even a quick nap! This time completely devoted to your personal growth and discovery… it’s truly all about YOU!

What to expect

The following is true of the retreat setting; information to be posted soon about the process for individuals.

This experience is capped at a maximum of six people in order to allow for maximum interaction and individual space. We’ll spend some time as a whole group, some breaking off by twos or threes. You’ll also have a some alone time for personal reflection. We’ll be using a variety of methods to tap into our intuition and imagination as we create our vision, purpose and life maps.

Every moment of our time together is important; therefore, it’s critical that you are able to commit to being fully present – physically and mentally – for the entire retreat time.

This process involves a lot of sharing of ideas, insights and experiences. Because of the personal nature of what’s being shared, we’ll start by establishing agreements that create a safe space. These will include confidentiality, humor, non-judgment, honesty and respect, as well as other agreements that the group chooses.

We will share breakfast and lunch together (you will be given an opportunity to share any dietary restrictions before the retreat), and dinner is on your own.

Overall, it’s a time to relax and focus completely on yourself. What a treat!!
